Lines and routes: Haifa
Haifa climbs Mount Carmel, and its transport follows: the Carmelit, an underground funicular, runs from Downtown up to HaCarmel Center, and the cable car rises from HaMifrats Central Station to the Technion and Haifa University. The Metronit's long buses (lines 1–3) connect the Krayot with Hof HaCarmel.
Israel Railways stations along the bay, including Hof HaCarmel, Bat Galim and HaShmona, have trains to Tel Aviv, Nahariya and Karmiel.

Good to know
Haifa is one of the few Israeli cities with some public transport on Saturdays. The Carmelit and the cable car show up as their own boards.
