Routes

Lines and routes: Jūrmala

Jūrmala is a long strip of resorts along the Gulf of Riga, and the railway is its backbone: Vivi trains on the Rīga – Tukums line stop at Lielupe, Bulduri, Dzintari, Majori, Dubulti, Pumpuri, Melluži, Asari, Sloka and Ķemeri.

City buses fill in the gaps: lines 3 and 4 run from Bulduri across the city, line 5 to Ķemeri station, line 8 from Dzintari forest park to Sloka, and line 1 to Buļļuciems.

Good to know

In summer, trains to and from Rīga fill up on weekends. Check the station board before you leave the beach.

How it works

Open it. Look. Go.

No timetables to search, no stop numbers to remember. DepBoard reads the street around you.

  1. Find your spot

Uses your GPS position, or any street, place or address you search for.

  2. Stops, nearest first

Every stop within 500 m becomes its own board, sorted by walking distance.

  3. Departures, live

All boards refresh in one request every 30 s, and the countdown ticks every second.

DepBoard combines city and rail feeds into a single view, so a tram stop and a train platform appear side by side.
